Mimi was born in New Jersey and raised in Georgia. Prior to working in healthcare, she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and worked as a wedding coordinator which led her desiring a career where she was using the knowledge she gained to help people. She discovered nursing and went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University. She worked as a registered nurse for 7 years with experience in areas of dermatology, telemetry, and labor and delivery before obtaining her Master's of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University. Mimi is certified by the American Midwifery Credentialing Board and is passionate about the empowerment of women and their health through the provision of evidenced based care and education throughout the lifespan. She currently resides in Cobb County with her husband and dog and is excited to start her own family soon. Outside of the office, Mimi enjoys exercising, CrossFit, and serving at her church.
