Alina is a Georgia native and 3rd generation Cuban. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in 2019. She spent the next 4 years working as a Labor & Delivery nurse while pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing Midwifery degree from Frontier Nursing University.
She is grateful to now be practicing at one of the hospitals she worked at as a nurse! Midwifery is her true calling and she feels honored to be able to support women not only during pregnancy and birth, but throughout their lives.
Besides catching babies, as a Certified Nurse Midwife she is passionate about education, family planning and contraception, promoting physiologic birth, and empowering women to make safe informed decisions.
Alina currently resides in Paulding County with her husband and their fur child- a Siberian Husky named Diesel. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and is a proud GT football season ticket holder.
